Look into the sea;
Tell me what you see?

Have you seen my reflection,
my distorted mimic, looking back at you?

Have you seen the shadows over the water?
That which makes you question what lies,
lie just beneath the surface?

Sink into the depths of my mind.
as you drown tell me what you find.
What’s at Its core,
when the anchor reaches the floor?

The ‘fishes’ here only feed one one thing: Me.
My life is the hook and sinker at the end of the line.

But being this long at sea, I rarely smile.
People ask if I have teeth, I have a few.
Every monster I’ve killed,
is another tooth added to my collection.
