It’s been a month since you passed… We promised each other that when you got better we’d travel the world together and go on wild adventures. But, as you got worse, the only place I wanted to be was by your side. I remember the hours we spent reading stories together about the lands far beyond. Stories of beautiful places, horrific monsters, and brutal action. Even as you laid in your bed I only have fond memories of our time together.
I was cleaning out your study room today, and I found your old journals. I always loved the stories we used to come up with; our made up adventures and impossible scenarios were always the best. Finding it brought back a lot of memories. I can always tell what story we were reading at the time because they were always inspired by one of those old fables.
Hey, I was looking through some of your stuff and I found the map! I know you were always into world building and the geography of those myths, but I didn’t know you had a list of places you wanted to visit! Is this where you wanted to go, all these coordinates? The stories came from all these books; did you really go out of your way to try and find the location of all these legends? Who am I kidding if anyone was crazy enough to try and find these locations it’d be us.
We’ve ben stuck here for so long, now that you’re gone, I’m not really sure what’s left for me… maybe it’s time I leave this place… go on that adventure that we were always looking forward to. Even if I don’t find anything, it’d be nice, for us. Heh, the book reads: “To my dearest friend. Your curiosity will guide you to greatness. Don’t give up on your dreams.” -Love Ava.

Hope you dont mind me borrowing your adventure pack! Iron armor, an iron sword, a shield, and some various materials for exploring, what more could you possibly need? I found a note in the stash: “for our journeys!” Haha, you were always prepared.
Here’s your armor. I’ll leave it on the stand beside your table, and a flower that I found. I’ll take a few days moving your old stuff and getting the house ready to set off.
Today I’ll head to the village shores. From there I’m not too sure, but I guess like you used to say “go wherever your heart leads you.”
